Ehrenstein Illusion

Is the center of this "sun" shining? A series of radial lines creates an illusory circle that appears to be brighter than the background.

Glass Pattern

Are the dots random, or do they make a form? A random set of dots and a slightly rotated copy of the same set of dots create a globally coherent pattern.

Hermann Grid Illusion

What is in the intersections? Gray blobs appear at the intersections of black rectangles.

High Stepping

Find the top step. When - and if - you find it, start looking for the bottom step. This stairway is actually impossible.

Honeycomb

If you stare at this pattern long enough, you will find that the circles begin to look like hexagons.
