BLINDATE
BlinDate is a support list dedicated to the discussion of dating and relationships from a blind/vi perspective. The main thrust of the list is to provide blind and sighted people with a way to exchange feelings and techniques for dealing with the complications of dating and relationships and to vent their frustrations. The listowners, however, do not encourage political announcements or commercials, because doing so will divert the list from its original purpose. Please be VERY discrete when talking about anything pertaining to a sexual content - there is a list named BlindAdult for such topics of discussion. The focus of this list, BlinDate, is on feelings regarding dating and relationships.

BLIND-DEV
The purpose of BLIND-DEV is to serve as a catalyst that will both spur and speed the development of software that will enable the blind user to use emerging technologies, platforms, operating systems, and applications as they are developed, so that access is built-in, rather than retrofitted. BLIND-DEV, therefore, is a conduit through which software developers and users - whatever their area of interest, level of expertise, operating system and/or hardware platform of choice - are able to dialogue, brainstorm, and educate one another. While BLIND-DEV is intended as a technologically oriented list, list "lurkers" are also welcome to monitor this dialogue. Topics of discussion will include, but not be limited to:
